Is there any restriction that i can run only lower version of Windows in the VMs ?? For example, if i license my ESXi server with 2008R2 Enterprise, I can run four 2008R2 enterprise VMs in it right ? Restored 1 to the test street. VMware tools are running on these Windows 2008 virtual machines, but the registry setting is not there. The change log of the VM indicates that these machines where imported from a previous environment and than upgraded from Windows 2003 to windows 2008. Will investigate this further tomorrow morning.

Re: Set Timeout on Windows Guest OS to avoid Blue Screens/Errors

That's right since 3.0.2.
All these bloggers are really approachable.
